Jo Thiele

Jo Thiele is an accomplished musician and songwriter. She studied music at The Cleveland Institute of Music, The St. Louis Institute of Music, Cuyahoga College and Washington University and has attended and facilitated numerous workshops. Playing drums, world percussion, piano and guitar, Jo has performed with several bands and has been part of the women’s percussion group Beleza since 1999. She is a member of the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild and has conducted many workshops for children and adults. She is a well known music educator in the Tidewater area and is cofounder of the rhythm experience DRUMbreak.
